Looking to a buy a carton or so of real clove cigarettes -- not the cigarillos that we are forced to smoke if we choose to purchase cloves in the God awful US of fascism.
Please respond to this ad or PM me and we can work something out. Not sure what countries still have them besides Indonesia.

Used to be in the movie business. I couldn't stand when the actors had to use the clove cigarettes. They stunk something awful..
Maybe these are different than what your talking about. The clove cigs that im talking about are supposed to be safe and healthy. thats why they would smoke them (when they had a smoking scene) maybe its a brand of regular cigs, i just remember thats what they called them.

never heard of clove cigs, but chronicpain talking about them smelling awful makes me think of the galouise cigs regularly smoked in france, now i love smoking (i may be one of the few people who doesnt want to quit at all, i love tobacco in all its forms, cigs cigars pipes, i even enjoy a little snuff now and again too) but galouise are the one cig i dont think i could ever smoke. personally i used to love lucky strikes before them and the majority of the rest of the manufacturers started poking holes through the filter and ruining them (annoyingly i think every cig company does this now, at least here in the uk) when im paying near as dammit 7 quid a pack i want a proper smoke!

I always oversmoke on them when im on bali ;D... cant beat a nice clove ciggie after some nice mojitos!

I remember during a session in my teens, a friend began sprinkling some cloves over the cone of weed he was about to smoke. When I asked what was he doing, he said his mum used to use cloves back in the day to numb her gums before a visit to the dentist. He said he loved the feeling, having tested it the night before where his mouth went completely numb. Two clove covered cones of good bud later, and I also had a numb mouth. Looking back, WTF were we doing? God only knows.

I have a carton of Djarum Black Cappuccino on it's way right now, dying of anticipation, haven't smoked cloves since I was in high school :D

Funny you should say that... someone said the exact same thing to me at a club last night after I bummed em one.. that they taste like christmas haha

I think the clove cigarettes the OP is referring to are the ones from Indonesia - Yes? I remember them as a mix of tobacco and some kind of spice 'like' clove. The result was a real exotic smoke that became an acquired taste to western mouths. I think I remember a brand called 'Gharam' or something similar. There was nothing intoxicating about them other than the flavor. Anyone else familiar with these cigarettes ?

I am about to finish off a pack of the Djarum special filtered cigars.
Totally not the same as when I was a younger man. They were a favorite amongst the "goth" kids at the time. Now a days, it seems like the interest has dropped like crazy. I tried trading one of my "cigars" for a marlboro at work last week, and I got looked at like I had 3 fuckin heads!

I was told that they changed them b/c the USA banned the sale of flavored tobacco products. Back in the day I would always get some djarums or those flavored bidi things. That was before I became addicted to cigarettes. They sure were nice after smoking some bud.

The maroon box on top and white on the bottom.... I had no idea that they changed the whole clove until I bought a box last night at 7-11. And sure as shit.... not only do they taste nothing like back in the day..they now say cigars on the box..and that cool label that said imported from Indonisa is gone :-[ I didn't know because those fuckers fooled me by making the packs look exactly the same when I see them from 7 ft as they are behind the clerk. And now of course that I can't get them.... I want them!
I went to Joys page and though she had every other clove I did not see the specials.. I did see the blacks..and if I am not mistaken those were the closet thing to the specials..
I sent her a message asking if she has those. My other question would be (that I forgot to ask so I am here) if you do have them do you know if they are the same as were sold 3+ years ago here in USA? Meaning did they change them all together..or just the ones sold in USA?
